HALLBERG-RASSY
The growing interest in sailing in Bulgaria has lead to the increase in demand for sailing yachts as well. Recently the local market opened for the famous Swedish producer Hallberg-Rassy. The roots of the company lead back to the beginning of the 1940s, when Harry Hallberg launched his first boat - the Folkboat. The merger of the companies of Harry Hallberg and Christoph Rassy in 1972 marks the birth of Hallberg-Rassy. Eight years later, the company launched the 35-foot racer Rasmus which caused a stir with its performance and, to this day, its design remains the hallmark of all Hallberg-Rassy boats. A basic principle in the creation of these unique yachts is that it is not necessary for sailors to get wet to the bone to enjoy the voyage. The boats have relatively high topsides, including protective windscreens, which has become a signet of all Hallberg-Rassy yachts. The company has always provided quality at affordable prices without compromising. The main goal of the design and construction is to provide convenient and safe sailing from the Scandinavian Peninsula to Antarctica. Of great importance for the reputation of the Swedish boat is the fact that all sailboats after 1989 have been designed by the renowned Argentine architect German Frers, whose team regularly creates vessels from small yachts to cruisers for the biggest races like the America's Cup and Volvo Ocean Race.
